Her Sacred Space
A young girl is raped at 13. What a shame. She feels society is to blame.
Another lost childhood with only memories that remain. She’s told she’s a
whore and her body is violated once more. Her soul becomes tattered and
her dreams of the future are shattered. She wants this life to end. She can
do nothing, but only pretend. A bottle of pills calls her name. It’s the only
way out of this crazy game. The night is filled with lucid dreams and visions
from the unseen. Past relatives visit her and awaken her from the dream. A
new light begins to appear, though it is still very unclear.
Two years fly by, but she still sits often to cry. A baby is now on the way.
Somehow she knows everything will be okay. Tonight is the night for the
little light to shine. A difficult journey they both will find. She’s exhausted
from 19 hours of severe pain. Only to find out she may lose what she
thought she gained.
An emergency c-section is done. Finally everyone can see the little one. A
scared young father heads for the door. He can’t handle this responsibility
anymore. She struggles everyday, with hopes the depression and stress will
soon go away. Another statistic is not for her. A new way of thinking must
be a cure.
A few years later things begin to change. She’s found a new life for her and
her light to share. A wonderful man comes along and shows he cares. He
proposes that she be his wife. She plans the ceremony that will begin their
new life. New beginnings are on the way. A test shows a new baby is
coming to play. Six months later she is saddened once more. It’s a lifeless
baby she bore. Nothing left but her haunted womb and heartache to the
core. The doctors say she has a disease. Thirty days to live doesn't put her
mind at ease. An option comes about, surgery may be the only way out.
Her reproductive system is awry. The thought of no more children makes
her cry. Her loving husband lends his shoulder. His greatest fear is that her
life might be over. She is someone's daughter, a mother, and a wife. The
last thing she wants to do now is lose her life. Her surgery is a success, and
her cancer has been put to rest. A survivor she is at best.
At 24 & 25 she battles once more. A new type of symptom unlike before.
For those of you who know her, know she is quite the fighter. Her light
continues to shine brighter and brighter. On days she can’t walk, she’ll
simply sit down to talk. Although sometimes shaky and weak, she doesn't
miss a beat. She has overcome so many obstacles for someone so young in
this life. She is taking it as a learning lesson to be grateful for all life, and
make everyday without strife. You may find her hugging or speaking with a
tree, although there are others who shake their head and disagree. Even if
she appears fragile and very small, please remember she sees the simplicity
of it all. A bigger picture to be exact. One with many theories intact.
If you find yourself lost in one of her stories from visions, try to sit back
and just listen. A nonjudgmental heart is all she wants to ask. Speaking out
and being herself was a very risky task. Let her speak her mind to those she
feels that are blind. All she is really asking for is your time.
When her time comes to leave this journey and ascend, she asks you to
remember that there really is no end.
No doubts lay hidden in her mind. She knows where she is going and she’ll
be just fine.
